Kemono Jihen

When a collection of animal bodies that rot away after a single night start showing up in a remote mountain town, Inugami, a detective from Tokyo that specializes in the occult, is phoned call to examine. While working the instance, he befriends an odd kid that works in the field everyday instead of going to institution. Steered clear of by his peers and also nicknamed "Dorotab?" after a yokai that lives in the mud, he helps Inugami uncover the reality behind the killings-- but mythological forces are at work, and while Dorotab? is just a nickname, it may not be the only aspect of the child that isn't human.
