Heartstrings

Lee Sin is well-known at his high school for his band, "The Stupid," while Lee Gyo Won is dedicated to traditional Korean music. Lee Sin's father, Lee Hyun Soo, was formerly a popular musician but is now on the brink of death due to drug addiction; this was also the reason for his long-ago divorce from Song Ji Yeong (Lee Sin's mother). Lee Gyo Won's grandfather, Lee Dong-jin, is one of the top three traditional musicians of his generation, and his greatest ambition is for his granddaughter to excel in traditional music. He is vehemently opposed to contemporary music because he believes it undermines tradition. The high school creates "The 100th Year Anniversary" to provide students the opportunity to demonstrate their talent.
