War of the Holy Grail - This is a competition in which seven magi call seven Heroic Spirits to vie for the power of the "Holy Grail," which provides a miracle. The fourth war began with that combat, whose end had been postponed three times. The magi entrusted their deepest wish of victory to the battleground known as "Fuyuki," but among them was a guy who was always alone, and could not figure out the rationale behind his struggles. Kotomine Kirei was his given name. Kirei was befuddled by fate's guidance and continued to query. Why was he granted the Command Seals? However, the outcome of his fights brought Kirei into contact with an adversary through happenstance. Emiya Kiritsugu is that person. A guy who was sterner than anybody else, more vicious than anyone else, and who desired the Holy Grail miracle.
