Stalag 17
It's a Boring Christmas 1944 for Its American POWs at Stalag 17. For the men in Barracks 4 need to deal with a problem that is grave - there is apparently considered a security leak. The Germans appear to get forewarned about escapes and at the most recent effort the 2 men, Johnson and Manfredi, walked into a trap and were murdered. For a few in Barracks 4, especially the loud-mouthed Duke, the leaker is obvious: J.J. Sefton, a wheelerdealer who really doesn't hesitate to exchange with the guards who has acquired goods and privileges which no additional prisoner seems to have. Sefton makes it clear that he does not have any intention of trying to flee and denies giving the Germans any information. He plans to ride out the war into what little comfort he can arrange, but it will not expand to spying for the Germans.
