Nanook of the North

This pioneering documentary movie portrays the lifestyles of those native Inuit people of Canada's northern Quebec region. Even though production includes some fictional elements, it shows the way its resourceful subjects survive such a harsh climate, even revealing how they construct their igloo homes in order to find food by hunting and fishing.
