Motives 2

The gripping sequel to Motives, which picks up three years after the events of the first film, stars Vivica A. Fox and Shemar Moore. Emery Simms, an innocent felon, is spending time for a crime he did not commit; while most convicts' claims of innocence are shaky at best, Emery has every right to oppose his unlawful imprisonment. Meanwhile, Emery's ex-wife (Fox) has married his best buddy and the two are attempting to construct a regular life together in the outside world. When Emery is slain in prison and his brother Donovan (Brian J. White) discovers the truth about what killed his ill-fated sibling, his mission to cut through the complicated web of lies and deception that had previously entangled Emery threatens to end in tragedy.
