Meet the Patels

Finding love is not easy. A primary creation Indian-American, To get Ravi Patel, the chances are slim. His perfect bride is so beautiful, bright, funny, family-oriented, kind and--in preserving tradition--Indian (though hopefully raised in the US). Oh, and also her last name ought to be Patel as in India, Patels marry other Patels. And so at 30, Ravi decides to breakup with his American girlfriend (usually the one that by all reports is fantastic for him except for her red hair and American name) and embark on a global search for another Patel yearning to be loved. He attends a convention of Patels living in the united states, enlists the assistance of his match maker mother and travels to wedding season in India.
