High Strung

Upon waking up one morning, Thane Furrows, a bitter, pessimistic, and unintentionally humorous children's book author, begins another day of complaining to himself about everything and everyone. Thane, on the other hand, begins to receive unusual phone calls, letters, and voices in his brain, all of which indicate that something will happen at 8 o'clock that day, and the day proves to be significantly different than normal. After a few hours, Thane yells and raves, enraged by various things that irritate him as the clock slowly ticks closer and closer to his doom.
