Bloodstone

When a married American couple travels to India for their honeymoon, they had no idea that they are about to embark on the journey of a lifetime. A massive ruby dating back to the time of the Indian Maharajas has been stolen and hidden in the backpacks of two American tourists in Thailand. When the evil men understand this, they kidnap the wife and take her to their hideout... Now it's up to the husband and his Indian friend (who is played by a well-known Tamil Indian actor) to go out and rescue her.
