Weekend at Bernie's
Synopsis James White (White) is just one of dozens of associate pastors at a mega church in Southern California under the tutelage of television evangelist Johnny Kingman (Wise). He jumps at the chance to become pastor of the impoverished Divine Faith Apostolic Church at Atlanta and longed to own his own church. His wife and two children are not very enthused about his mission. They will need to learn to trust each other and pull together to save the church by a tainted banker, although neither is your congregation itself. It is going to have a musical miracle, supplied himself, to rescue them all in this family-friendly humor.
