As a result of his extreme ideals, famous swordsman Li has lost every one dear to him. After a rival swordsman saves his life, the overwhelming pride of Li means he forsakes the woman he loves and lets her marry his saviour. Li comfort is the life he has now confessed and also alcohol. Using one journey, the proficient, yet merry Fei with his or her own anxieties to contend with is befriended by the lonely swordsman. The individual behind Li's troubles appears to be evasive, though all of the clues seem to point to the legendary'Plum Blossom Bandit', a figure whose identity has long proved elusive to the martial world.
