The Harder They Fall
Fight promoter Nick Benko hires jobless sportswriter Eddie Willis to promote his own, an Argentinian boxer that was not known named Toro Moreno. Even though Moreno is really a large scale giant, his own chances for success are hampered by a powderpuff punch and also a glass jaw. Exploiting Willis' reputation for ethics and standing at the boxing community, Benko arranges a series of fixed fights that propel the Moreno to no 1 contender. The Buddy Brannen, the reigning champ, harbors resentment and guarantees to viciously punish him. Eddie must choose whether or not to share with the truth to the naive Toro.
