Resting Place
A television film set in 1972 in Rockville, Georgia. Major Kendall Laird, a Survival Assistance Officer, arrives in this tiny little village with the remains of Vietnam war hero Lieutenant Dwyte Johnson. It is Laird's responsibility to assist Johnson's parents in burying their son. However, because the deceased hero was black, his parents are denied access to the town's "all-white" cemetery by white bigots.
