Pete's Dragon
For decades, old woodcarver Mr. Meacham has thrilled local children with his tales of this fierce dragon that resides deep into the woods of the Pacific Northwest. For his daughter, Grace, that acts like a forest ranger, all these stories are barely more than tall tales... until she meets Pete, a mystical 10-year-old without a family without a dwelling that claims to reside in the woods with a giant, green monster named Elliott. And out of Pete's descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably just like this dragon by Mr. Meacham's stories. With the aid of Natalie, an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack owns the local timber mill, and Grace sets out to figure out where Pete originated out, the truth concerning this particular dragon, and also where he belongs.
