Entirely shot on greenscreen, Shakespeare's Macbeth was obscured by manager Kit Monkman (The Knife That Killed Me) within a exciting new film version. Starring Mark Rowley, (The Last Kingdom, Luther). The unique adaptation of monkman bridges the difference between theater and film to develop a new type of space. This new adaptation puts the viewer's involvement amplifying the theatrical context of their first and creating truly intriguing and innovative cinematic vistas, whilst maintaining themes and the terminology of Shakespeare's play. Using background matte painting and computer modelling to generate the world in which the action performs, the greenscreen allows Monkman to build his vision of a globe in which the characters play out their various fates.
