Kanthaswamy
The film's plot revolves round Kanthasamy (played with Vikram), who's a Revenue Tax officer in the CBI, along with his friends, granting the fantasies of those destitute who write letters into a regional Lord Muruga temple by disguising himself as a anthropomorphic chicken. Throughout a CBI incometax raid, he finds a stash of black money possessed by Ponnusamy (played with Ashish Vidyarthi), a rich and corrupt entrepreneur. Ponnusamy has been paralysed to flee the questioning. Angered by the news that her dad was paralysed, Ponnusamy's daughter, Subbulakshmi (played with Shriya Saran) goes after Kanthasamy to look for revenge by pretending to be inlove . Kanthasamy, knowing Subbulakshmi's real goals plays along in the match. This consists of a cat and mouse chase between both.
