Gray Is the New Blonde
In the summer of 2013, Producer/Director Victoria Marie created a short video for her YouTube channel called Gray Is The New Blonde about her own gray hair journey. Much to her surprise, she was inundated with comments in response to that video. "I was completely stunned," she says. "Who knew gray hair was such a hot topic." She knew she'd struck a nerve and desperately wanted to get involved, but she was only a few months away from moving across the country to her new home in Los Angeles, so she had to wait. After a year in LA struggling through the typical new actress arrival with little to show for it, she realized she needed to create her own content to get noticed in the unforgiving environment of the entertainment industry. It was then that she realized the time had come to pursue the ever-increasing interest in women with gray hair. As a result, the documentary Gray Is the New Blonde was born!
