The Guild
The Guild is an American comedy web-series created and compiled . It was released YouTube on July 27, 2007. Seasons two webisodes premiered on MSN Video, Zune Marketplace, also Microsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace. The webisodes were made available on I tunes, YouTube, along with the Guild web site. According to Day,'' Microsoft's business design changed after season five. Day desired to maintain ownership, or so the episode premieres transferred to Day's YouTube channel Geek & sun dry. The webisodes may also be available via DVD and streaming Hulu along with Netflix.
The series revolves around the lifetime of a gamers' online guild, The Knights of Good, who play hundreds of hours of a dream MMORPG game. The story centers around Codex, the guild's Priestess, that tries to lead an ordinary life after one of her guildmates, Warlock Zaboo, shows up on her doorstep.
Joss Whedon credits The Guild among those inspirations for Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog, which also starred Felicia Day.
The sixth season premiered on Geek & sun-dry.
In a telephone interview following the season's conclusion, Felicia Day confirmed that The Guild web series is complete.
