Splash!
Splash! Is possible television series that follows celebrities as they make an effort to perfect the art of diving. The stars play every week before a board of judges and a live audience in an Olympic-size pool that is diving with all an result each week partially determined by public vote. Gabby Logan and Vernon Kay demonstrate the series, whilst Team GB Olympic Bronze Medal winning diver Tom Daley may be the expert mentor into those celebrities. It is filmed in the Inspire: Luton Sports Village, that can be based in Stopsley, Luton. The series proved on ITV on Saturday 5 January 2013 winning the ratings battle for the 7.15pm-8.15pm slot with an average audience of 5.6 million viewers, a system share of 23.6%.
Splash was the maximum evaluation new entertainment series on ITV for five years.
The structure for the series Comes from the Celebrity Splash! Franchise created in holland by television production company Eyeworks, and was broadcast as Sterren Springen Op Zaterdag on SBS 6. A US version, beneath the title Splash, premiered on 19 from Pasadena's Rose Bowl Aquatics Center on ABC television and the Riverside Aquatics Complex at Riverside City College. The US version features American legend Greg Louganis as judges and 2012 Olympic 10 m diving champion David Boudia. Celebrity Splash has been commissioned by the Seven Network in Australia! Which will air in 2013.
