Outrageous Fortune is a fresh Zealand comedy drama tv series, that ran July 2005. After the matriarch, Cheryl, decided the family should go right and abide by the law the series followed the lives of the livelihood West family. The series was created by James Griffin and Rachel Lang and created by South Pacific Pictures. Like the series itself, episodes shot their titles from Shakespeare quotations. The series concluded after 6 seasons along with 107 episodes which makes it the longest running drama series. The cast for the series's run Contained Kirk Torrance, Antony Starr, Siobhan Marshall, Antonia Prebble, Frank Whitten along with Robyn Malcolm. Grant Bowler appeared in a role that was sporadic throughout the first five seasons of the show. The series premiered on 12 and was welcomed by acclaim. It gained a number of the categories from the New Zealand tv awards for the initial 4 years, together with Malcolm's performance recognised by many New Zealand reviewers. Following the victory of a show, the United States and England accommodated Outrageous Fortune into their individual series, neither that were revived after the introduction season.
