Custer
Custer, also known as The Legend of Custer, is a 17-episode military-western television series that ran on ABC from September 6 together with Wayne Maunder at the starring role of Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer. Throughout the American Civil War, Custer had risen to the rank of major general, the newest at the Union Army. He was demoted through induce discounts following the warfare to the position of Captain, but was reinstated as a Lieutenant Colonel in command of the Seventh Cavalry in 1866. Many of the soldiers at the regiment were derelicts, former Confederates, and criminals. The series was cancelled until the script timeline would have reached the Little Big Horn River of southeastern Montana, where all expired at a Sioux Indian ambush, on June 25, 1876,
Robert F. Simon played with Custer's commanding officer, U.S. General Alfred H. Terry, who disapproved of Custer's long hair along with much of his approach of fighting with Indians. Slim Pickens starred Being a scout named California Joe Milner. Michael Dante appeared as Sioux Chief Crazy Horse. Peter Palmer played with a former soldier, Sergeant James Bustard. Grant Woods seemed as Captain Myles Keogh. Read Morgan, before a cavalry officer on NBC's The Deputy, appeared in the episode"Spirit Woman" at the role of a medicine man.
