Coupling

Coupling is actually a television sitcom written by Steven Moffat which aired on BBC2 from May 2000 to June 2004. Produced by Hartswood Films for the BBC, the series centres online sexual and dating adventures and mishaps of six friends in their twenties, usually depicting the 3 women and the 3 men each talking among themselves concerning the same events, but in entirely different terms. Moffat's relationship inspired the series to the extent they gave their names to two of the characters. Coupling is an instance of this"group-genre", an ensemble show that'd shown famous at the time. Critics compared the series to the sitcoms Friends and Seinfeld. The important reaction was largely favorable, and also the series was named"Best TV Comedy" at the 2003 British Comedy Awards. Its popularity increased and at the conclusion of this next series the series had achieved decent ratings in the UK, although the series debuted to unimpressive ratings. The series began airing on PBS channels and on BBC America in the USA in 2002 and quickly gained a devoted fanbase. The series is all about all over the earth. Short lived American and Greek adaptations were temporarily stated in 2003 and 2007 respectively.
