Big Day
Significant Day is an American situation comedy that aired on ABC . The show was co-produced by Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa and led by Michael Spiller for Sony Pictures Television. Back in Canada, the show aired on CanWest's Global and CH channels.
Originally, it was designed to debut on October 5, 2006, together with Notes by the Underbelly, however, ABC made a last minute change in its program by simply moving Ugly Betty on Thursday, hence replacing both sitcoms whose"buzz" was not especially promising.
Significant Day was broadcast on Tuesdays at 9:00/8:00call. The timeslot was filled by another new sitcom which had a better"buzz," The Knights of Prosperity, however, ABC moved that program to Wednesdays to create Large Day important. In accordance with the evaluations, wedding day proved to be an indicator disappointment.
Only 12 of those 13 episodes leaving the 13th episode, titled The $10,000 Check, unaired After Substantial Day stopped its first season on January 30, 2007.
On May 15, 2007, the show was cancelled by ABC after the network announced their 2007 2008 autumn program.
A film on the basis of the show was cancelled in development. Back in 2010, a re-version of the movie adaptation is now at pre production.
