Amanda's

Amanda's is an American sitcom inspired by the 1970s British sitcom Fawlty Towers. Amanda's aired on Thursday nights at 8:30 to 26 on ABC out of 10 February 1983. Bea Arthur surfaced as the Primary character, Amanda Cartwright. Amanda was who owns a beachfront resort called"Amanda's by the Sea" whose staff contained her son Marty, his estranged spouse Arlene, Earl the boxer and Aldo the bellhop. This is Bea Arthur's first return to show television since Maude stopped in 1978. Other stars included Leonard Stone Jerry Stiller and Todd Susman. The show was filmed in ABC Studios, 4151 Prospect Avenue in Hollywood, California in front of a live studio audience. Amanda's has been cancelled after having a four-month run often incidents in May 1983. A&E network broadcast reruns of the show.
