Yukito Kunisaki is on a journey looking for the Winged Maiden who was bound to the skies centuries before, after hearing the old childhood tale from his mommy. As Yukito shows people in a attempt to make some capital his puppet show, he discovers himself at a town by which he'd not wish to stay very long. As he is encouraged to stay with her, however, when he meets an odd girl called Misuzu, things take a drastic turn. Yukito soon becomes friends with the natives, by residing at the quaint town.
