The Second Mother

After departing her daughter Jessica to be raised by family relations, Val spends another 1-3 years working as a grandma at São Paulo. She has stability but has to live with the guilt of never raised Jessica herself. As Fabinho's university entrance tests approach, Jessica seems to desire to give her mother a second chance and reappears in her life. However Jessica will not be raised to be a servant along with Val's routine will be turned by also her very existence . With humour and precision, her eye turns on both powerful and subtle forces which keep class structures and the childhood might just be the ones.
