Shadows

The directorial debut of john Cassavetes revolves around a love in new york between Lelia, a light- skinned black woman, a man that is white, also Tony. The relationship is put in peril when Tony matches the darker-skinned jazz singer Lady, Hugh of Lelia, also finds that her racial heritage isn't what he thought it was.
