Journey to the Far Side of the Sun

There is A planet discovered in the exact same orbit however is on the specific other side of sunlight, making it not visible from Earth. The European Space Exploration Council decide to send American astronaut Glenn Ross and British scientist John Kane via spaceship to explore another world. After a disastrous crash-landing Ross awakes to understand they apparently have returned to Earth and Kane lies near death, as evidenced by the existence of their Council director and his staff. Released to the prosecution of his spouse, he soon learns things are not as they seem.
