Jean of the Joneses

Jean Jones, a gawky, 25-year old falls dead with her novel into his pocket and finds love unexpectedly with paramedic Ray Malcolm on the afternoon the grandfather turns up on her doorstep at the rear of a Brooklyn ambulance. Contrary to the advice of her loved ones, who all seem to be stewing in their secrets, Jean intends the funeral for Gray Jones and uncovers some difficult truths concerning the Jones women, her failing career and a crippling inability to move on from a past affair.
