Invasion of the Body Snatchers

The first remake of the paranoid infiltration classic shifts the invasion's setting from a small town to San Francisco, and begins with Matthew Bennell seeing that some of his pals are complaining that their close relatives are acting strangely. When questioned subsequently, they appear to have changed, denying everything or making flimsy justifications. As the invaders grow in number, they become more open, and Bennell, who has already witnessed an attempted "replacement," realizes that he and his companions must flee or perish. But who can he rely on for assistance and who has already been kidnapped?
