14 Blades
Been trained in covert combat from childhood, the Jinyiwei were all masters of their 14 Blades. Eight being five for killing, for torture, and also the sword reserved for suicide when a mission collapsed. An elite force of agents with a license to kill, the Jinyiwei committed their lifestyles and lethal prowess into this service of the Emperor alone. As soon as the Imperial Court is taken over by bad eunuch Jia (Law Kar Ying), the most useful of this Jinyiwei, Qinglong (Donnie Yen) will be assigned to steal a list identifying those still loyal to the Emperor. However unbeknownst into Qinglong, the Jinyiwei have fallen under the hands of Jia, also during the mission Qinglong is barely escapes with his own life and betrayed. Now as the most wanted man Qinglong must hunt outside and muster the loyalists to grow against Jia and restore the Emperor to power. Are the deadliest assassins from the territory, his former brethren, the Jinyiwei.
